The Love That Flows Through Us

On this day, August 23, 1932, my grandmother Charlene Miller was born to Shelvie and Knewie William.

She lived with a peaceful spirit, full of grace, and her love still carries through our family. Though she left us in 2014, her presence remains in every memory, every lesson, and every prayer she poured over us.

And the story didn’t stop there.

Her brother—my Uncle Wayne—stood by me in 2023 and helped me begin this wine journey. The same family love that raised her is the love that lifted me. What she planted in our roots continues to grow through us, bottle by bottle, story by story.

So today, I raise a glass to both of them—

To Grandma Charlene, whose love never left.

To Uncle Wayne, whose guidance opened new doors.

And to the truth that love, once given, always flows forward.
