“So… when am I getting all my money?” Love Geno

"The Blessing of Patience"

They say behind every dreamer, there’s someone who quietly believes in them — someone who gives them just enough room to grow without ever demanding perfection.

This letter is for that someone.

In 2021, I bought this building — the place where *Love Geno* and *The Love You Give* are produced. No big banks. No fancy loans. Just a handshake and a self-financed agreement between two people who trusted each other.

And today, I’m headed to breakfast with that man — the owner, my partner in patience, and someone I genuinely respect. He’s in town from out of state, and I’ve got his payment in my pocket. And still, I’m a little nervous.

Because I know how these conversations go.

We’ll sit down. We’ll talk. And at some point, the question will hang in the air:
“So… when am I getting all my money?”

And honestly, he’s got every right to ask. What was supposed to be a two-year arrangement has stretched into four. And this isn’t a 30-year mortgage. He’s 70 now he didn’t sign up to wait forever.

But through it all, he’s given me space. He’s allowed me to keep building  not just a business, but a vision. A brand rooted in love, care, and intention. And without his grace, none of this would’ve been possible.

I haven’t missed a payment. I’ve sent lump sums when I could. I’ve honored the agreement the best way a small business owner knows how floating bills, floating dreams, floating faith.

And now, we’re floating love.

So this is my thank-you  not just for the building, but for the belief. Not just for the financing, but for the flexibility. You didn’t have to trust me this long. But you did.

You get five stars from me for your patience, your presence, and the quiet way you’ve helped this dream keep going.

With gratitude, with heart, and with love,
Love, Geno
